When an eight year old looks up at Chimples and says, “Boy, clown, you sure are silly”, then Chimples knows that he has done his job.
Chimples’ character is that of a big kid. He performs magic that doesn’t seem to work like it should; but in the end magic has happened. When the audience asks how the magic worked, Chimples’ answer is, “I don’t know.” It’s just, you know, magic.
Chimples creates balloon sculptures that play like toys. He makes airplanes that fly on a stick; dogs that go for a walk on a leash; flying mice that jump up in the air; turtles and ladybugs that fit on your wrist; hats for your head; and, many, many more. Chimples likes balloons and he likes to have fun. Chimples enjoys entertaining…and it shows. |
